Sorry, no – this is going to be something about the app setup (maybe something is interfering with the audio session) but I don’t have any insight into it. I haven’t encountered it in 2.x testing.
You can submit it as a bug if you can cause it to replicate in the sample app with very small changes (as small as possible) in the sample app code, and tell me what the exact line changes are here, as well as telling me the device and iOS version you saw it with. If I can replicate it by recreating your (again, as small as possible) changes, I’ll investigate it as a 2.x bug. If the changes are too extensive and involve too many unrelated code areas it won’t be useful as a replication example, so it’s really worthwhile to keep things minimal.
