Could you briefly explain what N-Best is and how it is typically used? -> pocketsphinxDidReceiveNBestHypothesisArray
Does it look for multiple string combinations?
Hi Dave,
It just returns the top hypotheses, for however many hypotheses it found for the utterance while searching. So if it found 3 valid hypotheses, it is returning the 3 best results, which is why it’s called n-best (n because the number it is going to find isn’t known in advance).
