    Hi

I am working on an app where the user says a single word in rapid succession, which then drives a counter. Rapid Ears is working well on recognizing the words quickly except for higher pitched voices. I have tested it on a number of people and women, especially with very high pitched voices, have a hard time having their word be recognized. They can their voice to be recognized by dropping the pitch of their voice.

Is their anyway to increase the sensitivity of OpenEars/RapidEars to higher pitched voices?

I did find this answer in the forums but the how-to links don’t appear to be working. Is this still the best approach or is there an easier way to increase the recognition for high pitched voices? https://www.politepix.com/forums/topic/how-to-improve-female-voice-recognition/

    Hi,

Sorry, this is a known limitation of the shipped acoustic model.
