Can you think of a reason that the wav files produced by SaveThatWave would start studdering or sounds very slow like the sampling isn’t right? Once it starts failing, every wav file after that has the same problem but it usually works until recognition is stopped and started again. I still need to do some debugging but the stop/start seems to cause the problem. It’s not the input audio, because recognition still works fine, it’s just the audio output files.

I have seen that in many cases due to other unrelated objects in the app changing the audio session (such as a video object), but not without some external cause along those lines.

So my problem wasn’t any other object interfering, I had to start/stop the savethatwave controller each time the recognizer was restarted
