    I am interested in recording wav file with AVAudioRecorder and then doing recognition on it with the runRecognitionOnWavFile method. If I record the wav file and save it to the Documents folder or the Temp folder, OE can’t do recognition on it – it returns a null hypothesis. If I take that same file and put it in the bundle and rebuild the app, OE can do recognition on it just fine.

    Thoughts on what the issue may be?

    Halle,

    Problem resolved. It seems the path issue was that I was taking the absoluteString from the AVAudioRecord.url (prefixed with a file://) and not path (not prefixed).

    Using .path instead of .absoluteString resolved the issue.

    Hi,

    That is the verbosePocketsphinx logging, but the more important logging output you need is the OELogging output – turning it on is also covered in the post linked earlier.

    Great to hear – for future troubleshooting, make sure to turn on OELogging since it will give you output that will make it easier to discover that kind of issue.
